Spain and the New World

Church of St.Mary, Lastingham Saturday March 24th at 7.30pm

We present a programme that captures the exotic flavours of Hispanic music, from the spiritual sounds of early Spanish sacred music to the rhythmic vitality of the Missa Criolla by the Argentinian composer Ramirez, with percussion, piano and guitar. John Mackenzie will also be delighting us with classical guitar pieces from the Romantic period.

In the approach to the church Flower Festival, the Chanticleer Singers will perform a selection of seasonal songs and arrangemnts of well-known pieces from the popular repertoire.

Why not celebrate summer with us by enjoying some choral favourites in the beautiful setting of Old Malton Priory.

Tickets

Tickets for most concerts cost £10 (£7.50 for concessions). Tickets are also free for children and students.

Season tickets cost £24 (£18 concessions) and give admission to four concerts for the price of three (N.B. When the choir gives concerts at the request of other organisations, these are not generally included in the season ticket price).
