Weddings / Special Occasions

The choir is occasionally asked to sing for weddings, and will, if possible, supply a balanced group of singers to lead the hymns and sing during the signing of the register and at the beginning/end of the ceremony as required.
Chanticleer has a repertoire that includes many suitable pieces and can offer suggestions and attempt to accomodate particular requests.

The Chanticleer Singers are true musical ambassadors in many ways. When making such wonderful sounds in various sacred and secular places in Ryedale, their music seems the ideal complement to those glorious vistas in a rather special part of Yorkshire, and when they go on tour (to venues at home and abroad), they then take something of the warmth of the region.
The sparkle and life they bring to whatever genre they sing never fails to make an audience realise music indeed stirs the soul. Long may they continue to enchant listeners and encourage more of us to join them.
